Who I Am
Ever since I started getting serious about photography, I began to see the world differently. I look at mountains as the sun sets and pay attention to how the last bits of sun gently outline the crest. I look at tones in the clouds and pay attention to whether plants rustle in the wind if I want to shoot a long exposure. When I look at people, I just think of all the moments passing by and how to capture the right moment for that person - what angles work and how I want to light them. Do I want the light to wrap around their body and gently fade into shadow, or do I want to use highlights to carve her out from the background and accentuate the soft contours of her face? How much shadow do I let stay to add drama and depth? Every moment is different and they disappear forever instantly. One of the things I love the most about photography is being able to capture the best moment and show it to someone and have them see the same thing that I see, the same beauty that I see, and to show them a picture and have them say,"That's me?"And they get to keep that captured moment forever and know that they are beautiful and powerful.
I'm also a lawyer and I am married and have three boys.
Shutter Magazine is one of the largest photography magazines in the world. I currently have 5 publications with them since September 2019.
Fstoppers is the largest photography community in the world. Their Instagram has over 500,000 followers. I have been featured 3 times so far on their Instagram and featured one time in their YouTube channel of almost a million followers where they discuss one of my pictures they rated as "excellent" and "world class."
Watch Fstoppers founder Patrick Hall and award-winning photographer Pye Jirsa discuss one of my photos.
Check out some of my other publications below. I have been featured 8 times in Boudoir Inspiration Magazine, 4 times in Elegant Magazine, and on the cover of Horizont Magazine.

We have a wardrobe with over 100 dresses and other wardrobe pieces. Here are some shoots built with outfits and accessories from our wardrobe. While we have a number of bras and corsets and other lingerie pieces, wee don't keep any bottoms in the studio for sanitary purposes.

Information about Photoshoots
Terms and Promises for Your Photoshoot
We hope to have you as a repeat customer and want to make sure our understanding of what is expected from both sides is as transparent as possible.
Getting Ready for the Shoot:
Be sure you are on time for the photoshoot. Communicate any delays as soon as possible. Because we might have other shoots booked later in the day or other commitments, a significant delay from the agreed-upon start time might result in a forfeiture of the session fee.
If you need any special accommodation, let us know in advance as soon as possible.
If you have a Pinterest account, it's helpful to create a mood board of the types of poses and lighting that you want to try.
I have a variety of dresses and accessories that you are welcome to use. They are mostly between size 4 and size 8. I advise wearing a nude bra and underwear to go underneath any outfit you want to wear to prevent weird color cast through any dress.
Avoid wearing anything too tight before the shoot that might leave marks on the skin. For example, if you have high waisted jeans that you wear to the photoshoot and you want to wear something that shows your stomach, you'll have marks from the jeans across your stomach. That will affect the timing of getting photos back to you and although those marks can usually be edited out, it might result in the image not looking as good as if you did not have the marks to begin with.
If you have acne or any marks on your face that you are concerned about, those can be retouched if you want. It's usually not a cause to cancel or postpone the photoshoot.
If you've never modeled before, you might be surprised that it is a lot of physical work. A lot of people want to starve themselves before a photoshoot. This is a bad idea. You'll get worn out and tired. With posing and lighting, it's my job to angle you and capture you at your best. Eating a real meal before the photoshoot is not going to change the way your pictures come out. Being exhausted and hungry will prevent you from having the experience and the final pictures that you want.
At the Shoot:
You will never be asked to do something you are not comfortable with. If we agree on a fashion or lifestyle/influencer type shoot, you will not be asked or pressured to do anything beyond that. You feeling comfortable and relaxed and having an enjoyable luxury experience is the most important thing to me.
You are welcome to bring a friend or significant other to the shoot as long as that person is not a distraction. For example, if your guest repeatedly makes unhelpful negative comments about how bad you look in a certain outfit and it changes the energy of the shoot, the guest might be asked to leave or wait in the waiting room.
After the Shoot:
I will compile the best images at my discretion from the shoot and prepare unretouched samples for you to review and decide on which pictures you want to include in your package.
I do not provide raw or unedited pictures.
My default for retouching includes removing acne, bruises, or other discolorations from the skin, and stretch marks. If you want any scars or moles removed, please let me know. I usually do not push or pull the images to make someone skinnier unless specifically asked. If there is anything you are concerned about, let me know as soon as possible so that we can discuss it before the retouching begins.
If you need any pictures with a specific timeframe, let me know as soon as possible. A faster turn around time might incur an added fee.
Pricing and Booking
My goal is to deliver the best experience for you that you will remember for the rest of your life. Most of my clients have never had a professional photoshoot, so I do my best to make everything as easy as possible. A session fee is $500 and is required to hold your spot. It includes up to 2 hours of shooting time. Picture packages are sold separately.
The first step is to use the form below to get in contact and set up the date and time for your shoot and what kind of shoot you are looking for.
The first thing you'll get is a Pre-Shoot Planning Session. I'll reach out to you via e-mail or zoom to discuss your goals and plans for wardrobe and theme and coordinate with our hair and makeup team for your session.
Your session fee also includes a credit for hair and makeup to have a professional makeup artist and hairstylist work their magic before the shoot. You also get access to our wardrobe full of over 100 dresses and other outfit pieces.
On the same day of your shoot, you'll get a Reveal Session to review your photos in person and make a decision about which images you'll want to purchase. We print in house and can deliver prints the same day.
We also offer in-house printing services. See our printing page here.
